Robert R. Luetjen, age 66, of Brighton, MI passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, following a courageous, 2 year battle with brain cancer. He was born September 4, 1946 in New York, New York the son of Ralph and Evelyn (Disomone) Luetjen. He served his country in the United State Marines from 1966 to 1968. Robert married Marsha L. Gleason on May 15, 1966 in Seaford, New York. He was a member of the Lupus of Lion’s of America. Robert enjoyed golfing, reading and military history. He was a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather. Robert worked for Ford Motor Credit as a Business Manager for 35 years before retiring in 2002.He is survived by his wife Marsha, daughter Leah Luetjen-Wang(Honyi Wang), three grandchildren: Brion, Benjamin, and Sofia. He is also survived by his sister Eileen (Robert) Frew, one sister-in-law Susan (Andy) Stryker: and his beloved dog Susie. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:30 A.M., in state at church beginning at 9:30 A.M. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 5-7 PM at Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton
